What to expect

There's a moment when the city still sleeps, when traffic is only a soft background noise you hear in the distance, and runners take hold of the city. Rome has a long tradition of enthusiasts runners crowding the streets in the early morning hours. So with this tour we want you to leave as a local a very intimate Rome, by experiencing another facet of the eternal city.. it is the moment when the silence, and the particular atmosphere of the quiet, prelude of the typical chaos, makes everything muffled.

It'll be nice to hear the sound of your sport shoes on the traditional bevelled stones of black basalt, the sanpietrini, or peeking the bakers taking the brad out of the oven and smelling that marvelous fragrance, looking at the preparation of the traditional fruit and vegetables markets, and so witnessing the Rome you love but in a moment when no one else except from you can really enjoy it.

Our journey in a sleepy Rome starts with a warm-up at the meeting point in front of the Column of Trajan. Keeping a moderate pace we'll start running towards the theatre of Marcello and the jewish ghetto, Campo de' fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Piazza del Popolo.
